THE PICKS ARE IN FOR WEEK 7 OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Picking College Football games is a tough business and no one know that better than the Trophy Kids. It’s already been a roller-coaster season but if this was easy everyone would do it. This week we are back and got some winners for you. Make sure to check out the pod to get our takes on the rest of the sporting world.

Nate’s Picks: If you ride a bull long enough you’re bound to get knocked off. I have been knocked off this season. It’s my worst year yet but it’s not about how you get knocked off. It’s how you get back up and manhandle that next ride and boy do I have some winners for you this week.  (Record 6-12 on the year…)

GOLD BRINK TRUCK LOCK OF THE WEEK PICK

Wisconsin At Michigan (-9): This is the College Gameday game for a reason. It’s about to be a good one. I love Michigan as an overall team this year because of the talent but hate their coaching decisions. They have had zero balance offensively and that probably is due to the fact that three people have a voice in the play calls. That is a receipt for disaster. Michigan has one of the best run games in the business when they decided to go to it consistently but don’t. I think Michigan wins this game but Wisconsin covers. Wisconsin is a good football team and is 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games against Michigan.

Pick: Wisconsin +9

Washington at Oregon (+3): I had a little risky business early in the year with Oregon vs. Standford. I picked Oregon and thought it was the game that would put them back on the map. They almost had it outside of a late-game fumble but that game taught me something. It taught me Oregon is a good football team that was just a step off.  Today though I think Oregon makes its presence felt again in the Pac-12. Justin Herbert has played spectacularly this season. Both the Offensive and Defensive lines have played great.

Pick: Oregon (+3)

Colorado at USC (-7): USC has had its struggles since Pete Carroll left and those struggles continue tonight against Colorado. Colorado is a team that is flying under the radar at #19.  This is a solid football team all around. Offensively they are averaging 37.8 points a game and defensively they are holding teams to 18.4 points a game. They have gotten great quarterback play out of Steven Montez who could be the best quarterback currently in the Pac-12. This game is being overlooked because USC is always living off the reputation past teams built but they haven’t played up to that reputation. Take Colorado seriously.

Pick: Colorado (+7)

OVER/Under Pick

Notre Dame At Pitt (O/U 54): This is a Juicy Juicy over/under at 54. Notre Dame in their last 3 games has averaged 46.3 points. Notre Dame is smoking hot right now and offensively is rolling. Pitt is no slouch either. This is a team capable of putting up points and I believe this game will be full of points and hit that over.

Pick: OVER 54

Tim’s Picks: Record 10-8 which if we are keeping score which we are…It’s much better than Nate’s

Lock of the week

Duke at Georgia Tech (+2): After my lock of the week being the only one that didn’t hit last week, I’m going to stay away from Bama this week.  I’m looking at a Duke team that has been pretty strong this year.  They are coming off a bye this week going against a Georgia Tech team so they have had an extra week to prepare from the triple option.  On top of that, they have already beaten an army team that also runs the triple option by 20 points.  Duke is only giving up 2 to a Georgia Tech team.

PICK: Duke +2
Over/Under
Toledo at Eastern Michigan (65): Much like my bonus pick last week, I’m going to take the over in the Toledo game.  Toledo loves to score, and they are underdogs on the road.  Only way Eastern Michigan wins this game which I do think they have a chance, is to outscore them.  Look for Toledo’s high powered offense to put up enough points to cover the over here at 65.  Side note I’m a lifelong Toledo fan, which you don’t find too many of, but here goes nothing.
PICK: OVER 65
Georgia at LSU (+7): This is going to be a tough one for Georgia.  This line almost looks too good to be true, LSU getting 7 points at home.  Coach O down on the Bayu is a tough SOB.  Look for him to get his team hyped up for this game and put up a tough fight against Georgia.  They might not win, but they will cover.
PICK: LSU +7
Washington at Oregon (+3): Outside of the terrible late-game clock management against Stanford, Oregon has looked pretty good.  Plus they are playing at home.  I’m following the trend this week of taking the underdogs at home.  Taking the points and they will put up a tough fight against Washington.  Go Ducks!
PICK: Oregon +3
Can’t give a bonus pick every week otherwise it wouldn’t be a bonus pick so those are my picks.

Let’s See How This Plays!

P.s. If you came here for proper grammar and articulate writing, go read a book. This is Pick em season, and ain’t nobody got time for that. Hot Picks Only… but seriously come back next week for more.
