THE PICKS ARE IN FOR WEEK 9 OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Picking College Football games is a tough business, and no one knows that better than the Trophy Kids. It’s already been a roller-coaster season but if this were easy everyone would do it. We are back with the hot picks you need for your Saturday.

Make sure to check out the pod to get our takes on the rest of the sporting world.

Nate’s Picks: I started off rough picking games on the podcast this year but have started to chip away at my terrible record. Here’s the thing though. If you were smart you would be following the twitter account @trophykidspod because I have been giving away BIG, BIG, BIG time winners (14-8 in the last two weeks). So once you are done reading this go on over to Twitter. Hit the follow button and see all my picks for the week.

The record for Trophy Kids Picks is 9-17… not great but do you believe in comebacks?

OVER/ Under Pick: 66.5 NCST at Syracuse: This is a no-brainer. These two offenses can be extremely explosive and defenses extremely volatile. They are both averaging over 400 yards offensively and given up an ungodly amount defensively. I think that the over is a good pick.

Pick: Over 66.5

Miami at BC (+3.5): Three words for you, Red Bandana Game. If your unfamiliar with this game, I’ll break it down for you. This game is all about honoring a true American Hero. On Septemeber 11, BC graduate Welles Crowther helped save at least a dozen lives. He was wearing a red bandana at the time just like he did when playing for the BC lacrosse team back in 1999. BC plays a game every year in his honor called the Red Banadan Game. This week is that game. This is an emotional game, and the Eagles have been knowing to open up a can of whoop ass. In the first addition of the game the upset 9. USC 37-31 and last year whooped up on FSU 35-3.

Pick: BC +3.5Purdue at Michigan State (-1.5): This is a super intriguing game. Is Purdue going to come out flat after a huge emotional win? Is MSU going to bounce back after a beating? How does MSU move the ball with all the injuries at Wide Receiver? These are all excellent questions, but my mind is made up. Purdue is winning this game. MSU is just to banged up, and Purdue is rolling both offensively and defensively. I don’t think Purdue falls off this week. David Blough will be sling the ball and looking to continue to make noise in the B1G.

Pick: Purdue +1.5 and might as well sprinkle the money line

BRINK TRUCK LOCK OF THE WEEK: Georgia at Florida (+7): This is the game of the week and the SEC is back to its teams beating each other up. This is a slugfest, but there will be explosive plays that break this game open. Georgia is coming off a bye and looking to clean it’s self off after that beat down by LSU. Flordia is riding high and looking to continue it’s run as a contender in the SEC. The thing is Flordia’s run D is not strong enough to compete with the big dogs on Georgia. I expect Georgia to hammer them and then let the great Jake Fromm (I didn’t stutter, the GREAT Jake Fromm) pick his spots and create big plays. Plus I think Kirby gets his Defense back in line.

 Pick: Georgia -7

Tim’s Pick: Here are my picks. If you want the reason you will have to listen to Trophy Kids Pod. ( Record 13-13)

Clemson at Fsu: Over 50

Duke at Pitt: -2.5 Duke

Kentucky at Missouri: +7

NC State at Syracuse: Syracuse +2

May the picks be in your favor!

P.s. If you came here for proper grammar and articulate writing, go read a book. This is Pick em season, and ain’t nobody got time for that. Hot Picks Only… but seriously come back next week for more.
