THE PICKS ARE IN FOR WEEK 10 OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Picking College Football games is a tough business, and no one knows that better than the Trophy Kids. It’s already been a roller-coaster season but if this were easy everyone would do it. We are back with the hot picks you need for your Saturday.

Make sure to check out the pod to get our takes on the rest of the sporting world.

Nate’s Picks: I started off the season rough in my pod picks but the last few weeks I have been making an epic comeback. That continues this week and make sure you are following the Twitter account @trophykidspod for my gut picks that have been killing Vegas this year.

Trophy Kids Record: 12-18

Georgia at Kentucky (+9): This is a tough one for me. I love Georgia as a team but rooting for Kentucky has been a fun ride. Kentucky is playing incredible defense but the fact remains this offense struggles. The gameplan for Kentucky every week seems to be that the Defense will keep them in the game and then hope for a couple college football plays where things break down for them to score. That is a problem when it comes to this game.

Georgia seems to have gotten back on track. The monster that is their offense woke up last week against Flordia. So, even though Kentucky’s D is great, Georgia is going to score and  I don’t have faith Kentucky can come close to matching. Georgia’s corners will be able to play on islands against Kentucky’s wide receivers meaning they can load the box and tee off on snell.

Pick: Georgia -9

Over/Under Pitt at UVA at 47.5: This one is a tough one. I could see this going both ways but it’s no fun to take the under. I think the over is very much in play. Both offenses are averaging more than 27 points a game and Pitt’s defense is bad. They are allowing 32 points a game and have a tough matchup against UVA’s dual-threat QB. Sometimes you have to risk it to get the biscuit.

Pick: Over 47.5

Syracuse vs Wake Forest (+6.5): I love this game because I love Syracuse. They have been my workhorse for the last two years. Mike Francesa might not know who Dino Babers is, but I sure as shit do. Dino has been building a program up in Syracuse. The offense is explosive averaging 43 points a game and the defense is good enough to help get the cover. Wake is not very good on defense and is allowing 36 points a game. They are going to need some key stops to cover and I don’t think that will happen.

Pick: Syracuse -6.5

LOCK OF THE WEEK

Texas A&M at Auburn (-4): This is not a game a lot of people are going to turn on with everything else going on but this game has value. Texas A&M is clearing working towards an end goal of establishing an identity to go off of for next year. This team is still playing hard and have a lot fight in them. That’s dangerous this time of year because a lot of teams don’t.  I don’t know if Auburn does. I might be wrong about this but after watching both teams play a lot this season I feel a lot better with A&M then Auburn.

Pick: Texas A&M (-4)

Tim’s Picks: Here are my picks. If you want the reason you will have to listen to Trophy Kids Pod. 16-14 record

Penn State Vs Michigan -12.5: Pick Michigan -12.5

Alabama Vs LSU +14.5: Pick LSU +14.5

Notre Dame Vs. Northwestern (+10): Pick Northwestern +10

Pitt Vs. UVA OVER/UNDER 47.5: Under 47.5

May the picks be in your favor!
