The Mozart Of Movie Trailers

Youtube is a wonderful place and If you’re like me you can easily find yourself wondering down a deep youtube hole. Hoping that you will stumble upon a gem. Well, I have found the next great gem. The CarpenterSound youtube page.

CarpenterSound posses the amazing ability to identify patterns within movie trailers that work perfectly with other films. He masterfully slices together imagery that flows seamlessly with a score that creates a thing of beauty. He is basically the Mozart of Movie Trailers, but my mere words can not do his work justice. So instead check out my top five favorite trailers.

1. Bohemian Rhapsody – Game Of Thrones Trailer:  This should send a chill down the spin of any Game of Thrones lover. It’s a thing of absolute beauty, Enjoy!

2. Captain America: Civil War Trailer: This will have you ready to run through a wall to go watch Captain America. CarpenterSound identifies a style from Mission Impossible that when sliced together with specific scene’s, works perfectly. It is an absolute work of art!

3. Avengers: Infinity Wars Trailer – Gangsta’s Paradise: This is the one that started it all for me. I saw this on the recommendation section and was immediately intrigued by the idea of a Gangsta’s Paradise score to Infinity Wars. Clicking on this and then proceeding to go down the wormhole that is CarpenterSounds youtube page was time well spent. I didn’t know how much the world needed an Infinity Wars Trailer scored to the instrumentals of Gansta’s Paradise at the time, but I’m certainly glad it exists now.

4. The Dark Knight Trailer: This new take on a classic is fantastic.  It will have you wanting to rewatch one of the greatest movies of all time. Don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself.

5. Clegane Tribute – Game Of Thrones: We are going to finish with a bang. The Logan Style trailer is a perfect fit for The Hound. After watching this, you will be rooting for a movie based on his story.

Seriously how has this guy not been scooped up by a studio to make all of their trailers? I’m more pumped to go rewatch every single one these movies more then I was to originally watch them.

If you enjoyed what CarpenterSound can do with a single concept, I strongly suggest you take a look at the story he can tell with a full years worth of movies. Have fun with the journey!
