The Degenerate Report: College Football Week 6
WARNING: If you came here for proper grammar and articulate writing, go read a book. This is Pick em season, and ain’t nobody got time for that. Hot Picks Only… but seriously come back next week for more.
Picking football games can be tough, and that’s why you turn to the Degenerate Report (won 64% last year). This week we have some great games to watch and even better games to bet. So we are locked in and ready to have some fun because let’s face it, we all have a little degenerate in us, and every once in a while we let it out.
Here are my picks for the weekend.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS:
UCF at UC +4 O/U 61: I Love Love Love this pick. This game the last couple of meetings has gotten out of hand. UCF has absolutely dominated UC but that was the past. The real question is will this game be closer?
I think yes the game will be closer but UCF will still win. I think 4 is a crazy number for vegas to give because I think this is a touchdown difference kind of game. So I am jumping all over this.
UC has differently improved but that O-line is still a hot mess and the Offense while yes as been better recently. Still hasn’t looked good against equal talent and UCF will have no problem taking advantage of that.
Pick: UCF -4
Iowa vs. Michigan -3.5 O/U 47.5: It’s been no secret that Michigan is having an atrociously bad year. They have looked lost on offense and defeated on defense with the exception of last week against Rutgers. But who is buying Michigan stock off whooping up on Rutgers?
This week they are going to play the greatest average football program over the last decade, Iowa. They have been the same team year in and year out. They just play solid fundamental football on both sides of the football. They aren’t going to over power you on offense but they will put up some points. They aren’t going to crush your will to live on defense but they are going to contain your offense and sometimes dominate. They are currently only allowing 8.5 points a game but that’s been against subpar talent. As said before, Michigan is depressingly down this year and I think Iowa is just right to get a big win.
The line has dropped since first opening and is an absolute must win for Michigan. The only problem is, no matter how much I want to take Michigan I just don’t trust this squad.
Pick: Iowa +3.5
Oklahoma vs Kansas +32 O/U 67.5: Oklahoma isn’t losing this game but the over/under is real interesting. Obviously Oklahoma is going to get there points. They are currently averaging 55.5 points a game. It’s the Kansas Jayhawks that interest me here though.
Les Miles seems to be a head of schedule with making this team competitive. They obviously still have a long way to go because it’s Kansas but they have defiantly shown signs of improvement. I think they offer up enough for this over to be in play.
Pick: Over 67.5
Auburn vs Florida +2.5 O/U: We finally have a power house SEC match up this weekend. This game is down in the swamp and I expect to be a good one but at the end of the day a pick needs be made.
Auburn is one of my favorite teams this year. Mostly because they have done exactly what we have been asking big time programs to do. Schedule tough games and prove your metal. Auburn has gone on the road twice and beaten a strong Oregon team and a tough team in Texas A&M in one of the toughest environments college football has to offer. This team seem to get better week to week and now they go to the swamp, battle tested and ready to take on the Gators.
Auburn has dominated up front and I except that to be the game changer in this game. Florida’s O-line is going to have their hands full and ultimately will lose the battle in the trenches. This will create problems for backup QB Kyle Trask, who I expect to have a shakey game.
Pick: Auburn -2.5
Should be a great week of football and may the picks be in your favor.
