THE DEGENERATE REPORT: COLLEGE FOOTBALL AND NFL WEEK 11 PICKS

Picking football games can be challenging, and that’s why you turn to the Degenerate Report. Last week was not as strong as the week prior, but I still posted a positive number for those Degenerates. I went 3-2-1. I am 38-21-1 on the year and have yet to have a losing year. I don’t plan on this year being my first.

If you are not already, make sure your following Trophy Kids Podcast on both Instagram and Twitter. I have been giving out extra picks there, and overall I am 102-66-4 on all football picks this year.

We have an incredible slate of games to watch and even better games to bet. I am locked in and ready to have some fun because, let’s face it, we all have a little degenerate in us, and every once in a while, we let it out.

Here are my picks for the weekend.

(Make sure to check out our podcast Trophy Kids)

Indiana vs. Ohio -20.5 Over/Under 66: When you are in the picking game, you can’t be afraid to go big game hunting. This week I am big game hunting. At the start of the Big Ten season, I said Tom Allen had been quietly building a solid program at Indiana. The nation is finally sipping from the Indiana cup, and this week on the nation stage Indiana gets to show what they are made of. I am not calling my shot here and saying they will beat the juggernaut in Columbus, but a cover is well within their reach. I have concerns about what I have seen from that Ohio State defense, and I have a feeling deep in my gut based on what my eyeballs have seen, this is going to be a fight.

Pick: IU +20.5

Wisconsin vs. Northwestern +7.5 Over/Under 44: Wisconsin is an utter nightmare to deal with. Closer your eyes even for a second, and they show up like Freddy Krueger, ready to fuck up your night. The offense is still rooted in brut force up front with the big uglies, but this year, they finally found their man at QB. Graham Mertz adds a dimension that makes Wisconsin deadly. Wisconsin is also once again bringing a solid defense to the part with outside linebackers that are great sideline to sideline. Northwestern is a solid football club, but they know they are outmatched in this one. Don’t be surprised if this turns into a WWE smackdown.

Picks: Wisconsin -7.5

Iowa vs. Penn State +2.5 Over/Under 47: Talk about a game only a year ago would have been an excellent match up. This year though, Penn State is in free fall. The wheels have fallen off, and James Franklin is trying to put them back on with the car moving. On the other hand, Iowa has gotten back on track by kicking the shit out of lousy football teams. Without that insane crowd atmosphere in Happy Valley, I don’t see that trend changing here.

Pick: Iowa -2.5

NFL Picks

Eagles vs. Brown -3.5 Over/Under 47.5: The Browns have played back to back games in some god awful weather. This might honestly be a god sent because it has forced them to keep it simple and be run-heavy. They are their best on offense when they can build off a good run game. They are looking at another crappy weather game in Cleveland this week. That heavily favorites the Browns. Myles Garrett is a nightmare to deal with, and the Eagles are limping to the finish line. They have no fight in them.

Pick: Browns -3.5

Packers vs. Colts -1.5 Over/Under 51: This is an interesting game. The colts are a very solid football team. They play great defense, have a strong offense of line, and can run the ball. The wild card is when will Philip River’s arm fall out. On the other side, you have Aaron Rodgers putting together an MVP like season, but the defense is a bit of a liability. This game is a pick’em for me, and I would rather bet on Aaron Rodgers getting it done than the colts.

Pick: Packer +1.5

Bengals vs. Football Team -1 Over/Under 47: This game is all about matchups. The Football Teams D-line will absolutely crush, but Joe Burrow has learned fast how to get the ball out of his hands quickly. Both defenses fade under the spotlight, but the Football Team lack of weapons is concerning.

Pick: Bengals +1.5

It should be a great week of football, and may the picks be in your favor.
