THE DEGENERATE REPORT: COLLEGE AND NFL PICKS WEEK 12

Picking football games can be hard, and that’s why you turn to the Degenerate Report. Last week was not a strong week, but I am still positive on the year, which is what you Degenerates have come to expect. The record sits at 41-24-1 on the year and I have yet to have a losing year. I don’t plan on this year being my first.
Make sure you are following Trophy Kids Podcast on both Instagram and Twitter. I have been giving out extra picks there, and overall I am 105-75-4 on all Trophy Kids football picks this year.
We have an incredible slate of games to watch and even better games to bet. I am locked in and ready to have some fun because, let’s face it, we all have a little degenerate in us, and every once in a while, we let it out.
Here are my picks for the weekend.
(Make sure to check out our podcast Trophy Kids)
ND vs. UNC +4.5 Over/Under 67.5: Offense, offense, and some more offense is what I am expecting here. Both teams look to play fast and score a lot. The UNC offense is incredibly potent, and their defense stinks like a skunk. The only potential concern is Notre Dame losing their Center and Right Guard could cause a stumble out of the gate. I am going to take my chances.
Pick: Over First Half 31.5
Penn State vs. Michigan -2.5 Over/Under 58.5: The toilet bowl is on this week. These two historic programs are in complete free fall, and both look like they don’t want to play football. This pick is going to be conditioned on one thing. Mcnamara being the starting QB for the Wolverines. Harbaugh should be held liable for holding Michigans fan’s mental health hostage with this Joe Milton experience. It has failed miserably, and Mcnamara has looked good in relief.
Picks: Michigan -2.5 Lock if Mcnamara plays
Iowa State vs. Texas -1.5 Over/Under 56.5: This is purely a gut play here. I know Iowa State is always good for a letdown spot in a big game, and it feels like it could be this game. Texas isn’t good, but they can be dangerous if you take your eye off the ball. But there is a part of me that thinks this Iowa State team is different and will win this game. Some times you have to listen to the gut.
Pick: Iowa State +1.5
NFL Picks
Giants vs. Bengals +6.5 Over/Under 44.5: The Bengals are a terrible football. A Really, really, really bad football team. Joe Burrow masked some of that because he was terrific, but the Bengals got him killed, and now I don’t think they have a shot in any game. The Giants are bad, but they have a fighter’s mentality, and that’s all you need in this one.
Pick: Giants -6.5
Browns vs. Jags +6.5 Over/Under 49.5: The Browns have been playing through some absolutely terrible weather games, and while the games have been miserable, they have found ways to win. The rushing game for the Browns is lethal with the two head monster in Chubb and Hunt. You pair that with play action Baker and that sorry excuse for a defense that is the jags. While I think we have a beautiful recipe for the browns to get another dub.
Pick: Browns -6.5
Raiders vs. Falcons +3.5 Over/Under 54: The Raiders don’t exactly wow you on Sundays. You don’t look at them, and say, they do anything exceptionally well or better than everyone else. But dammit, they are just a good football team. The Falcons are limping to the finish line, and that bird is dead.
Pick: Raiders -3.5
It should be a great week of football, and may the picks be in your favor.
