We are back for another Degenerate Report. I know picking football games can be tough, and that’s why you turn to the Degenerate Report. After three years of finishing with a minimum 60% winning record, I am back at it again, trying to deliver wins. 

  My record for the year is 26-23-1, which isn’t where we want to be, but we have plenty of time to get there.

I am not going to lie; it has been a rough year for picking games on Trophy Kids Podcast, but I have stayed positive at 51%, and I am green here.

 I got my eyes on lots of football this past weekend and am ready to come back and give you a great six-pack of picks for this week. 

Here are my picks for the weekend.

College Football:

Oregon vs Utah -3.5 O/U59.5: I hoped on the Utah bandwagon before the season even started with picking up their Pac-12 Champ future, and I am not hoping off now. I know everyone, and their Nana is on Utah right now, but I don’t care. Rice–Eccles Stadium is one of the best home-field advantages in the country, and it will be rocking. In Cam Rising (awesome QB name), we trust. I know a lot has been made about the fact that Utah’s defense is not as good as normal but this is still a top 3 team in tackles for loss, so they can still get penetration upfront. 

Pick: Utah -3.5

Va Tech vs Maimi -7.5 O/U 56.5: The Justin Fuente era is finally over at VA Tech. I have been saying for years this was a bad hire, and finally, they are correcting it. That means, though, we have an interim head coach vs dead man walking game on our hands. I will take the energy of the interim head coach injection to put the final nail in the Diaz coffin.

Pick: Va Tech +7.5

SMU Vs UC -9.5 O/U66.5: Look I know the optics of this pick. UC has stunk when it has come to ATS, but as soon as this game slipped under ten, it became a buy for me. I have been pretty open from the start of the season UC was going to make the playoffs and that take gets stronger and stronger every week. The one game I am worried about it the Houston game but SMU I don’t think, has the horses to win this one. Their offense is pass reliant, and that is an elite unit for UC. This is a spot for UC to get right and I love them to through in a teaser bet.

Pick: UC -9.5

NFL:
